Sometimes I’m just like, ‘Jesus Christ, I’m 18 and can barely fall asleep OR get out of bed in the morning. Not only that but I’m taking my Grade Twelve math returning year and can’t even show up for classes because I’m actually scared of the school I attend. I have a job now which is awesome, but I’m working like 16 hours a week and also I’m making Burritos, (which is kind of awesome) but definitely not in my field. People are dying, women are victimized. The minorities of skin, sexuality, religion, political beliefs, etc.. are attacked everyday. Poverty clings to this country like Harry Potter’s invisibility cloak. It’s there but our government keeps telling us it’s not. Our commercials tell us to buy more cars, get married, have more kids. Round and round it goes. We’re all fucked and no one’s saying shit.” And this is generally what my face looks like. See? You can’t tell anything’s wrong.
